Sensory Art Tent

From construction to session

Inspired by the Snoezelen, created by Jan Hulsegge and Ad Verheul, I sought to create a tent of my own. One that could double as both an art studio for my sensory art techniques and act as an exhibition space!

I have shared a few photos here to give you a flavour of my workshops and aims in my sessions for participants.
Freedom to explore. In this case a cellophane hoop!
A focus on process and investigation of materials. Rather than a fixed outcome.
Independence and control. One participant discovered what great fun it was to slide on organza!
Engaging our senses. However participants felt the most comfortable engaging.

From these workshops an interactive sensory art space was born.
